Several visits & the coffee has been excellent. Matcha latte was quite good change-of-pace today.
Locally sourced coffee...Maui Mellow & Mokka Natural were excl pour overs. You can't go wrong with Kona Peaberry as well.
Espresso bites are excellent snacks from Big Island Coffee Roasters. -

Food and coffee were good overall. We got both a regular and vanilla hot latte ($4.95 each). We also got the papaya bowl and a breakfast sandwich (bacon egg and cheese). The breakfast sandwich should have been served on a bagel but they were out of bagels the day we came so it was served on English muffin instead ($8.97). The papaya boat online says it was $7.55 but there's another sign in the store that says it's $8.55 yet it rang up $9.97. You really should get the prices straight - that's annoying to customers.
Please remove the outdated prices online. If I had known of the real prices I wouldn't have come here. It is overpriced. Also please be more friendly! I know it was only 7:00 AM but still it's a beautiful day in O'ahu with a lot to live for! -

Very cute coffee shop in a touristy area in Waikiki!
The few days we were in Waikiki, we were looking for a nice place to get some breakfast and coffee by our hotel that wasn't super overpriced. We stumbled upon Coffee Shop 831 via Yelp and so we decided to check it out.
I liked this place because of the decor, and the fact that they are eco friendly. They support clean oceans and that is important to me. I ordered a coffee and a veggie sandwich, both which were delicious. While I waited for my food, I ate one of the free pickles that they have out!
Overall really yummy cute meal before the start of our day. Would go back when in Waikiki. -

Cute little coffee shop near the International Marketplace in Waikiki.
This place is probably overlooked by most people because it's off on a side street, but it's worth going on the hunt. Their coffees are all 100% Hawaii-grown and roasted, with a variety of pour overs and espresso drinks. Their food menu changes from breakfast sandwiches to paninis at 10, but they have some snacks offered throughout the day including their papaya boat! -

I had a pour over. It was good- not great! I drank it all so definitely good. I just expected it to be WOW being that it was their number one choice for pour over. Their food looked great. I only ordered coffee.
I love the local feel. The staff was friendly for the most part. A little bit of a language barrier as the barista taking my order didn't get my order right and it was just a pour over. ;) but we got it right.
